After lunch we will journey over to the beautiful town of Lagos - indoor slave market (the first in Europe), Saint Anthony's golden church, fort and old town. Finally to Monte Gordo and Vila Real de Santo António, the border town with Spain, separated by the generous mouth of the River Guadiana.

This is a chance to spend some time in the bustling gypsy market and get those last minute bargains, as well as visiting two other tourist resorts of the Algarve. Quarteira - quaint fishing village and the Marina of Vilamoura - the largest in Europe.
